Former Harlem Globetrotter Inspires Forest Park Students

Thanks to the support of the Forest Park PTA, students at Forest Park Elementary had the opportunity to welcome Tay Fisher, former Harlem Globetrotter and Siena College standout, for an energetic and inspiring school assembly.
Fisher now runs a youth basketball training program and travels to schools to share his anti-bullying message.
During the assembly, he taugh students about T.A.Y., which stands for Talk, Ask Questions, and You. As Fisher reminded everyone, “It’s not about me, it’s about you.” He encouraged students to recognize the trusted people in their lives they can talk to about bullying and emphasized the importance of showing empathy and kindness toward others.
To cap off the event, Fisher invited students from the audience to join him on stage for a quick lesson in classic Globetrotter tricks. The interactive session had everyone smiling, laughing, and cheering — making it an unforgettable experience for the entire school community.
